Aside from the fact that it's being made in a different soap base, no.

Thanks for the comparison with Adagio: sounds like just a touch of menthol!

Maybe one should wait for the full scent description before asking but... how does it differ from Taiga?

Taiga is much sweeter and woodier. Fir oil, due to its high terpineol content, is fresher and lighter than balsam (which comprises the major note of Taiga), while the leather serves as a counterpoint to this characteristic.

Fir oil, leather, and about half the menthol content of Adagio.

Well, coming from someone who missed the vegan formula, I'm definitely looking forward to this surprise release (I didn't see it on the schedule even last night!)

Nicely done, Will! Man this year is really good for B&M releases.

I haven't added it to the schedule yet, but that should be happening this week. Smile

Great description and another B&M soap to add to the must have list!

First Snow is set to return for the Winter in November. We've decided to release the Winter seasonal earlier this year in order to make it easier for people who want to buy them as gifts. Smile

First snow is lovely smelling and simple! Any chance it may be a touch stronger in scent potency?

Yes, we'll probably be upping the oomph a bit. Smile

Wow! So this would be the scent profile but in the new tallow formula?

Exactly.

Great. Looking forward to your reviews. Will get the Classic as I really like that one and I like it with Lavanille but I am psyched for Fern thanks to Beaudelaire

I plan to acquire every single one of the Barrister's Reserve aftershaves as they become available - everything Mr. Will Carius sets his hand to is well worth having. Dude has the Midas touch.

The fragrances have not yet been adapted for use in a soap or cream (and, if they ever are, it would likely be the latter). Going to have to bear with us awhile; product development is expensive and time consuming. Barrister's Reserve took two years.

Well, like Will said - development takes time and the splashes aren't even out yet. In my review, I mainly meant any of the other excellent soaps already available. That said, I most certainly wouldn't mind some matching soap/cream in these new scents! Wink
