Still kicking my leg that I only ordered 3 of the 4 Black Label B&M early last year, but fantastic that Will is bringing Beaudelaire back in a weeks time - for a short period - though I believe it could do well as a permanent member of the DeLuxe line (I call the used to be White Label soaps that)

If you smashed Fougère Imperiale and Lavanille together, and made the whole thing creamier and a bit rosier, that would be about as close as you could probably get to Beaudelaire. It's creamy-woody, leathery, and soapy all at once. Smile

Wow, that sounds wonderful. I guess I must order Beaudelaire on pre-release, I mean seriously, after that description, what choice do I have? Smile

Marko, if you like Aromatique, I have a lightly used tub I dislike Wink

Hi Red Tipped Cobra , thanks for your kind offer, however given my current soap count and my consumption rate I am at least a year or two from finishing my current tub so I will decline and perhaps leave your offer open to someone who hasn't got any. Its been so long since I've actually finished a tub of soap but I am nearing empty on a tub of B&M Bay Rum - just in time for its release in glissant base and new packaging later in the year.

i understand completely. I bet most of us have enough soap to last several lifetimes.

To clarify my statement...I have often told my friends that while I might not always personally want to use a particular scent, I always appreciate the passion and the quality that goes into the B&M offerings.

I own a ridiculous amount of soaps, aftershaves and doo-dads. The brand I reach for most often these days is B&M. The soap is a solid base, especially the new glissant formulation. The scents are unique and refined. The packaging has been (and will be even more so soon) - classy... As is the presentation, from the shipping box to the stickers and candies included.

So yeah, I could pretty much stop buying B&M right now and still have enough to last until I retire... But who am I kidding? Big Grin

Barrister_N_Mann Is it true that both Fougere Aromatique and Imperiale are never coming back? Any reason why?

And LGC EDP?

It is true, yes. They're EXORBITANTLY expensive to manufacture and, in the fougère craze that followed the release, they became no longer viable as production soaps.

As for the LGC parfum (pure parfume, rather than an EdP), I still need to contact wyze0ne about his offer to engrave a bottle for me. With the packaging overhaul and the launch, I just haven't had the spare moment yet. The perfume itself does exist, though, and currently resides in a sealed, wrapped jar in the lab refrigerator.

Well than, I guess my two tubs are going into the safe.... =P

I'm proud and very happy I own two of the white labelled versions from 2014/2015:
FougÃre Imperiale & FougÃre Aromatique - both are EXCELLENT scented and performing shaving soaps.
