I know there are a ton of things you're working on right now. Keep up the great work. It is appreciated.

Thank you very much. I'm EXTREMELY excited to get some of this stuff finished. Barrister's Reserve alone has been in development for literally years.

Waiting on some answers from my suppliers this week. Should have a concrete answer by Friday.

Just ordered both from Maggard. Always the quickest delivery to Germany. Having already the Cologne Russe Splash (ordered from IB), i am really excited about both soaps.

So... what´s next? When starts the pre-order for LGC.. ehm, i mean Beaudelaire ;-/

The pre-order for Beaudelaire starts one week from today (June 27th). I'm somewhat leaning toward bringing LGC back next year as a permanent offering, once some of our other product development stuff has quieted down. Smile

Permanent offering would be awesome! Only thing better would be LGC available in fragrance form, but I suppose the ingredients list would limit where you could sell it.

Tragically yes, though, if we should ever become a big enough company to warrant it, I might consider sending it to the lab that has done the fragrance work for BR so that they could bring it fully into compliance. I'm not up on current IFRA regulation and don't really have the free time to go ripping apart the formula, but professional perfumers tend to be a bit better at such things. Smile

Will, how would you compare beaudelaire to your discontinued fougere Imperiale and Aromatique? I pull one of those out every few weeks for an awesome shave and can't believe they're out of production. So nice.

Marko, if you like Aromatique, I have a lightly used tub I dislike Wink

Aromatique has a sportiness to it.
Imperiale has a darkness too it. Makes me think of smelling the forest floor of the dark forbidden forest.
Beaudelaire is nice but hard for me to describe but it's more earthy off the puck but not as dark as the other 2. Baudelaire also pairs nicely with the Lavanille Tonique as well.

If you smashed Fougère Imperiale and Lavanille together, and made the whole thing creamier and a bit rosier, that would be about as close as you could probably get to Beaudelaire. It's creamy-woody, leathery, and soapy all at once. Smile

I'd be more than happy to take the more obscure B&M products off people's hands if they no longer want theirs... Just sayin' :p
