There was a post elsewhere that it got moved to the 11th. And I believe First Snow will also be available.

Just Here for the Shaves
Williamsburg, KY
Email from a week ago.

Something is going on with the US Postal Service. I don't know what it is, but I'm definitely not the only one to have noticed this. Regardless, I ordered a good quantity of one of the fundamental materials that we use in Omnibus shaving soap over two weeks ago. It shipped just fine, and I figured we were all set. All of the other bits and bobs were finally in place.

And yet, that one package is still wandering around Missouri. "In transit to the next facility; arriving late." Thanks USPS.

So then! We're going to have to move the Ubrique launch one final time. I know, it sucks, I'm sorry. I thought we were good. But the powers that be just don't seem to want this soap to reach your shave den. Not sure what the deal is, but they're definitely nursing some kind of grudge. The new release date for Ubrique and First Snow is February 11th.

I got that same e-mail Dave, but I deleted it after reading and for some reason thought it was for today. Oh well.

By bad for forgetting to post this right away, but the shave was delightful in all respects, so I hope it's better late than never. ...

B&M Spice is a high performing and IMO very pleasant homage to Old Spice.  A quick trip to Wikipedia, or an even quicker trip to Google's AI, reveals that "Old Spice was launched as Early American Old Spice [a woman's perfume] by William Lightfoot Schultz's soap and toiletries company, Shulton Inc., in 1937. It was first targeted to women ... "  The men's products, pitched as clean and manly, eventually became more popular, and they incorporated various ship logos.  Procter & Gamble purchased the brand rights in 1990.

My apologies. The material DID arrive yesterday, and I have finished production for both Ubrique and First Snow. All that remains is to release to retailers and take some cool photos. Smile

It's great news that the material finally arrived.

Is the 11th the drop date Will aka Barrister_N_Mann?  I got the same email with the 11th drop date, and I am wondering, with all the craziness, if you need some room to rethink things.

Tragically, I will need to move it out to the 13th. Turns out that the box printer who makes our EdP boxes decided to dismantle their press for maintenance in the interim, and reassembling it took them longer than they thought. EdP boxes are due in tomorrow, but I don't want to shortchange our retailers, so we're going to set it for the 13th and then finally just be done with the damned thing.

I've had some bizarre launches over the years, but I've never had one delayed so significantly by the complete and utter failure of our suppliers. It's maddening.

Great shave! I love BaM Spice and Tabac Vert is one of my favorite fragrances. The razor and brush look sweet too.

Thanks for the reply Will Barrister_N_Mann, and FWIW I’m sorry you’ve been through the wringer these days.  I look forward to the 13th.

Thanks Jeff.  B&M Spice and Tabac Vert are also favs of mine.  FWIW I'm a total sucker for the scent of carnations, and the Tabac Vert has a prominent carnation note.  That's what brought Tabac Vert to mind for pairing with the Spice
