Barrister and Mann

Are the B&M shave soaps at EU the same as US? I am asking because EU has many restrictions/prohibitions, some ingredients are prohibited at EU and the products wants more laboratory tests. So the Seville or the Wave shaving soap I am buying at EU is the same Seville and Wave you are selling at US market?

That's correct. If it's available in the EU, that means that it has been certified for sale in the EU and fully complies with all of the regulations required under the Cosmetics Directive. There would be no reason for us to sell one version in the US and a different version in Europe.

Thank you. I just wanted to verify it. There isn't logical to make another product just to sell it at EU. Btw, your soaps are really great. I put aside all others brands.
I have tried:
Waves , I love it but I think the scent needs to be a bit stronger,
Seville , really great. At first I wasn't sure if I like it but after 2 shaves I loved it.
Woods, at first I disliked the scent but my wife loved it. So I tried it again 2-3 times and now I think its ok. Not a great fun of it and I am not sure if I will buy it again (my wife still thinks its the best scent ever but its my soap ).
Bay Rum: this scent isn't for me for sure. I didn't give it a second try.

This is a very nice lime scent. Well done Will

No, we're not phasing out tallow. As I said in the announcement email, this is to prove that I can make a vegan soap that can hang with the best of them, and to offer a great soap to some folks who have shied away from our offerings until now due to the presence of animal products. Changing over the entire line yet another time would be costly and time-consuming, and I have no wish to go that route. Haven't ruled out a couple of future LE vegan releases, but Omnibus will remain a tallow soap for the foreseeable future.

OK, I ordered a sample of Roam II and Will's advertising lured me into buying a bottle of his new Screamin' J Cologne as I think Florida Water Cologne is one of the best smelling economical men's cologne on the market. I hope I like it when it arrives.

Cologne arrived today as did the Roam II sample. First, the good news. The new vegan formula is a fantastic performer. I was careful adding water as vegan soaps are not very hydrophilic per my experiences. The smell of Roam II however is another matter. There is one note that would stop a charging Grizzly IMO.    Roam I was a far better smeller. 

The Screamin' J Cologne is nice. Just nice, not great. It could have been. For a cologne it has little sillage to my nose. The initial splash on my fresh shaved face does smell like Florida Water, but then meanders off down another avenue in a matter of speaking. I was hoping it would turn out to be a better Florida Water on steroids. I was wrong. YMMV. 

This review is worth what you were charged.

If they opt to take them, it will be months in the future. It was a big deal for them just to take the bottles of Fougère Gothique that are currently en route. For some reason, Barbieri Uniti is of the view that European wet shavers are not interested in fragrances, and I have been trying to show them the folly of this for some time.
