Has anyone smelled Angelique yet...maybe at the store?

I highly doubt that anyone smelled it, because Maggards got only half of their order, due to a production issue, and everything is now moved to pre-order.

Hmmm.  When I placed my order that note wasn't there on the website.  I wonder if they will have stock to complete the early orders.  That said, I was thinking that someone may have been in the Maggards store and actually got to smell it.

No, that's not correct. They received their entire soap allocation; it's the aftershave that has been slowed down. The lab didn't make as much as they were supposed to, and I did not discover this until I picked it up. There are still hundreds of orders that will be going out, at least so far as I know from Maggard. There's no reason to hold up the other shipments, so the only ones that will be delayed are the ones that went up after the "pre-order" message went live. Everything placed before that time, as I understand it, will ship normally.

I've smelled it, along with probably about 300 other people. Will had a sample bottle to spray at the Maggard meet up back in June.

Okay, so do tell? What's it like and what did you think? Is it complimentary to FG? Could you combine the two and, for instance, shave with FG soap and finish with Angelique AS? Do they work together or are they really different? What other scent out there is Angelique similar to...and please don't say Fougere Aromatique.

Maggard requested the Barrister's Reserve soap base. I wanted line consistency across the board, so, after discussing it, Brad agreed to offer in in the Barrister's Reserve aftershave base as well, rather than using Deltus.

I thought these were going to be Deltus for some reason. Oh well.

I'm glad they're in the Reserve base tbh. Both the soap and aftershave perform much better for me.

I’m the opposite. I wish they would have been excelsior based. That base preforms far superior for me. YMMV!

I really enjoy this scent and my wife loves when I wear it.  I would be in for an EDT for Lavanille if that ever happens.

I LOVE Lavanille, and would definitely be in for an EdT or EdP of this Scent.
