I have Gothique in quantity as well as Petrichor, WK Tempest and CF Summer Storm.

Looking for something dark but not another reskin of damp earth with an occasional touch of burnt added in.

I'm reading it's the same but not the same. Maybe I'll get juiced to buy a sample. My buying is now mainly geared to scents with an edt.

I don't think you can go wrong with Hallows. I wouldn't call it a reskin of damp earth or anything else - its an original and stands on its own. I'd call it the gold standard by which all other dark scents are judged. Again, purely my opinion but its just so well executed. I'm going up to shave right now and Hallows is my choice for today. Not the latest release because I haven't received that one yet but the most recent with the nail in the skull image on the label.

One other difference, Gothique is Reserve base and Hallows is Glissant.

Hallows is its own dog.

It's a fairly complex scent, so it's difficult to describe it well.

I'd say it's a sweet take on vetiver.

Like Roam, it ages very well in the tub. I like my 4 year-old tub better than the nail head, but the nail head is getting there. It's a shame I don't use it more often. Just because it's marketed for Halloween, Hallows works for any day in Fall or Winter.

Btw, I own and really like my Hallows.

I just got my Hallows the other day. I got to tubs and a bottle of the after shave. I love it. I've been waiting since I tried a sample. I agree it's a very complex scent. I would have sworn there was cinnamon in it, but I didn't see it at all in the scent list.

Got this year’s hallows in the mail. I have all but the original batch. Fantastic as always. Hallows was my original B&M purchase when I found out you had to order it at midnight I wanted in. Such an incredible scent. This year’s packaging and presentation are top notch. The tumbler and passage coin are super cool. Got a sample of Waves in the box too. My wife really liked that scent. Stellar work again, Wil.
