Social media and forums can consume way, way too much time on a good day. When there are shenannigans though, there isn't enough time in the world for that crap.

What shenanigans? I'm not a member of the other forums, so I'm not sure what he's been up against.

There have been several things over the last couple of years, but most recently it was a backlash against Fougere Gothique. Specifically I believe the marketing/imagery used.

I don't want to speak for Will here... But I know he gets a lot of crap over scents that people, for one reason or another, don't like. That and the usual shave drama here and there. More so on social media (looking at you, Reddit) than forums.

Ok, thanks Phreak. People can be really petty. Some things never change.

Oh, you have no idea... And sadly, it's not just him (but he's a big target because of his place in the market). People can be real _)(@$@!&%.

Hell, I've even gotten "fan mail" for being a B&M fan.

That's why I try to limit my participation in forums. They too often turn into opportunities for tough guys behind computer screens to say whatever they want about others opinions without any filters. That's what I enjoy about DFS. We get along well here for the most part.

I hear ya. DFS is rather civilized compared to darker corners of the interwebs (again, looking at you, Reddit). But Facebook has its idiots too. I can't be bothered either, and honestly - I just don't have the time. I have Daily Lather to manage.

This is so true. Just trying to stay on top of this one forum takes so much time on a regular basis, and like said, thatâ€s on a regular day, when there are no sudden issues to deal with.

I tip my proverbial hat to any merchants who take the time to be available through forums, social media, etc. Even if they can do so only once a week (or even just once in a blue moon), thatâ€s still time away from something else that could be more important — or healthy.

(My formula for the day: Less drama = More time for development, production and operations for the artisans and vendors.)
Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”
