Really?  Has there been that much negativity?  I guess it has just enough musk and vanilla to stir that up.

There was when it launched, yes.

I don't believe they did samples for Hallows, probably due to the high demand for the full soap. Just wondering if this will be the same.

They will not, no.

I used to do that with my chewing tobacco.

I would freeze them though.

Worst thing that would happen is that the ones in fiberboard cans would dent in and collapse a bit.

I found drozen chewing tobacco dried out a lot faster when opened.

Hence the vacuum sealed bags.

The freezer (and the refrigerator to an extent) runs an auto defrost cycle that removes moisture. Part of the "freezer burn" phenomenon.

I think you ought to buy a tin of the CO2 that you spray into the head space of open wine bottles you aren't finishing right away and then, prior to sealing the tubs, open them and carefully lay a blanket of inert gas(CO2) over the surface of the soap displacing the oxygen then carefully replace the lids and vacuum seal the tubs. I'm not sure if this will better preserve your soap but it just sounds like the sort of overkill that has to provide some benefit right? Big Grin
