Meantime, a fresh B&M order brought me Glissant Seville, upgrading a top-five favorite, and First Snow, which I really appreciate not only for really smelling like my dad's leather jacket in winter, but for not being overly strong, which is sometimes exactly what I want. Nice stuff!

Disagree. But noses are very different in what scents we perceive.
I get leather, dark roasted coffee and musk from my Leviathan soap.
I get a very pronounced fecal shitty manure note from Dior Leather Oud.
My personal note is that Acca Kappa's Black Pepper & Sandalwood is an excellent compliment to the sandalwood accord used in Leviathan, though it lacks the coffee and leather notes. Still a terrific fragrance, though. One of my favorites for winter.
