Why isn't the hallows a regular line up soap and why not make anymore in 17?  Got some of this for Christmas and then learned you won't be making it in 17.  So I have scoured the internet and managed to find a couple extra bottles and a tub of soap to make it through 17.... this is fantastic stuff.

If you go back a few pages in the thread you'll find Will's expressed opinion/suspicion that Hallows is jinxed due to the many unusual things that seem to happen around it. Its a very special soap and for that reason alone likely will never become part of the regular lineup. I find that I have a large enough rotation that I can make even a favourite soap like Hallows last for 2 years.

The true reason is actually more practical and less superstitious. Big Grin We've made Hallows for four years now, and last year we produced nearly 1800 jars of it. Mom and I are very much of the view that pretty much everyone who has wanted it has now had the opportunity to try it, so we would likely sit with most of it were we to make it this year. Better to give it a year off and bring it back in 2018, after people have cleared out their stock a bit. Smile

That makes sense and I appreciate the information! In fairness, my wife got me this for Christmas off a list that had about 25 soaps and aftershaves I'd been dying to try including Hallows.... needless to say, I'm glad she picked this one out... all three soaps and matching aftershaves she picked off the list were fantastic, but this stuff is absolutely incredible... I am glad I was able to find another soap tub and two more aftershaves out on the web to last me through 17.... The reason she picked this one she said was simple "the label looked cool" Smile

Been using my Dickens all week... wouldn't be Christmas season/winter without it!!

Going to keep that information to myself, I'm afraid. Let's just go with "Quite a lot of it." Big Grin
