What a line up! And EdT!

2017...what a year!

Can we expect the rest of the regulars (Cheshire, Lavanille, etc) to also make their conversion to glissant?

Super duper stoked! Will finally get diamond as well as petricor. Also very interested in seeing the notes for the new Fougere and eventide.

Well, I'm stoked Big Grin Petrichor, yes! Fougere Gothique!? Intriguing but a must have. Lime, Lavendar and Cedarwood, yes! And of course the rest which are all wonderful. I think the idea of soaps like Hallows and Dickens taking a year off is an excellent one - nothing wrong with a 2 year cycle and its a heck of a lot better than outright discontinuing them.

Will, you should have a "Buy Them All" button on your site allowing us to buy the entire year's releases up front. You'd get the payment up front and we'd get the soaps on release. Win win. I always tell people who are desperately seeking a B&M soap on the BST because they chose not to buy it on release but now realize their error, that they should just buy the soap on release every time. That way you won't have any regrets and if on the off chance that you really don't like one of them, sell it on the BST, or don't. Its a shaving soap not a BMW, a few unused soaps lying around won't break you.
Thanks!

If I remember correctly, LGC was the first Glissant release, but afterwards Barrister_N_Mann tweaked the next Glissant formula (I think it was one of the seasonals or LE's, maybe Night Music?) in which he replaced the almond oil with high-oleic safflower oil. I thing the tweak was made to avoid allergy concerns, but I noticed a slickness improvement. I may have this mixed up, but the point is, LGC's Glissant base was tweaked after LGC's 2016 release. Will the 2017 LGC have the revised Glissant formula?

And hells yeah to the EdT additions. I understood there was a hang-up for that to come to fruition on a retail scale. I don't remember the particulars, but I'm glad it was resolved. This is a nice surprise.

And the aforementioned pitch about having a program in which someone can pay in advance for all new releases for the year is not a terrible idea. However, I would imagine Barrister_N_Mann 's headaches would ensue with people wanting to have variations on it. I would foresee some folks wanting 2 of this and only 1 of that, etc. This might force the issue of having "levels" of membership. (Oooh, just the word will make some cringe.) And then what about production delays and unforeseen problems. Then prorated refunds, etc. Could easily be a mess for a small-ish operation to undertake. That's not to say it can't be done, and that I'd be willing to sign up!

Yeah it seems like a good idea at first but would become a mess. A year is a lot of time to change one's mind. Maybe they don't want a certain scent anymore. Or maybe they want multiples of a favorite... Lot of variables that will make this a stressful thing for Will. Seems like his current method has worked out pretty well.

I, like probably many here, never had the chance to experience the original. I'm really happy to see some of the old scents coming back, in glissant formulation no less!

Will, you've made a LOT of people happy today. Well done.
