How do I tell from the website if a soap is using a new or old tub? It really gets to me when I have different tub from the same maker. Just like glissant Leviathan and glissant Seville... As much as I love Leviathan, I might sell Leviathan because it is not the new/same tub like Hallow or Seville...

The soaps currently made with the older jars:

Leviathan
Bay Rum
Cheshire
Lavanille

The soaps currently made with the new jars:

Seville
Cologne Russe
First Snow
Dickens

I don't particularly like the holidays so it's not that embarrassing.

And my Dickens from last year is at 95% but I still got the new one this year plus the AS.

So, my wife is awesome! We just opened Christmas presents with the family, and for me there was a wonderful smelling box that contained Dickens, First Snow, and Figgy Puddin'! Very cool! I haven't had a fresh puck of Dickens in 2 years; I'd forgotten how bright and awesomely cheerful that scent is! Looking forward to my Christmas Eve and Christmas Day shaves

(Also, Will, those new jars are Sa-Weeet! I always thought the old ones were nice, but I have to agree, these are a definite step up.)

Oh okay, just wanted to make sure we hadn't screwed up. I'm glad you like the Cool!

I don't suppose there's any possibility of exchanging the unopened bottle of Cool for a bottle of the Spice??    I have the original box and packing material still.  No big deal if not.  I do like it and will eventually use it.  Or I'm pretty sure I could get something good for it in a trade on the BST.

We can do it, if you want, but, since the mistake wasn't ours, you'd have to pay shipping both ways. You're probably better off trading it. There are some great things out there on the BST.

I was able to trade it for a bottle of Cologne Russe and a bottle of the DFS. I used the Cologne Russe soap and AS just about half an hour ago. I like it very much. They are both fantastic. So all's well that ends well. :-)
