Wait a second...that better not stand for the Canadian News Network. I'm on to you.

What does CNN stand for? We have the CBC, you know, Hockey Night in Canada, Don Cherry, Red Green Tongue

Wow, I step away for one second and now all this? Glad that's over at least. Typically when I don't agree with an artisan I just remove myself as a patron and that is it. No need to bash, I simply don't see the point.
By the way, Floid blue does seem to be available still but I too asked the vendor and they said it is discontinued...

Will, reading your posts, you'd be a great lawyer. Wait ...

Based on my experience with their shaving soap, I would definitely doubt the veracity of any statement from Creed. On their shaving soap boxes and lids, they write "contains natural honey, sweet almond, natural lanolin, beeswax", but if you look at the INCI label, it does not list any of these components. (I can provide pictures). In Europe, where they are based, this would be enough to raise the issue of consumer fraud... (misleading advertising).

Holy cow. This thread blew up for sure. I'm personally glad it's over. Having a discussion is one thing, but that was ridiculous.

Will,
Just looked at the scent description for Figgy Puddin. I noticed it has a cinnamon/clove combo. While using Nocturn I get a nice cinnamon/spice scent without the same face melting effect. Is the cinnamon/clove combo in Figgy Puddin just as tame? Nocturn is the only soap that has a touch of spice that doesnt even give a hint of burn to me.

No, the spice content is a bit higher in Figgy Puddin'. If you're that sensitive to cinnamaldehyde and eugenol, I'd stay away from it.

From my perspective, this is great marketing for Will. Every time some [non-gentleman] comes crawling out of the woodwork, and Will behaves like a total professional, I'm tempted to go drop $100 on B&M.

Will, please don't change; you are a tremendous asset to our community.

I can identify that I am sensitive to cinnamon across all makers of soap, but never really identified the chemical name for it, other than cinnamon. For example I can slather on VI Bay Rum without issue. So it goes without saying, most fall soaps that have apple in them, have cinnamon, and I have to bow out.
