I bought a dozen bottles of Floid Blue over the course of the last year, as recently as last month. This fragrance is hardly lost or dead. At last check, Old Spice was still in production as well. Please don't argue the reformulation nonsense. The Reserve line speaks to a loss of creativity on your part. You are simply trying to reap a profit  by creating a copy of a famous scent that's still around. You now exist on the same plane as RR, PAA, and so many others exhibit a lack of creativity and just produce copies because a certain segment of the wet shaving population is there to gobble them up.

Your personal (and, notably, biased) experience aside, I was told by the distributor that Floïd Blue has been discontinued. As such, since they're the ones actually SELLING the stuff, I'm going to take their word over yours, if it's all the same to you.

And, seriously, smell new Old Spice versus vintage and tell me that there hasn't been a dramatic change. But, as I said, believe what you like. I sleep well at night knowing that I have accomplished my goal and preserved scents that would otherwise have been lost. That's enough for me.

This fellow has been over on one of the other forums where Will as well as myself and many of you were banned, agreeing with a certain mod, and generally bashing Will and his products.   He has some kind of axe to grind.  
So you don't like it.  You've made your peace. Good deal.  Get on with your life.

I have no axe to grind. Look at my comments in threads on THIS forum in the past regarding my love of fragrance and my disdain for copying and you will see that everything I have said here is in line with this philosophy. Please don't belittle my beliefs on creativity and my ability to express those beliefs. I have and will have discussions on what I consider to be abhorrent business practices wherever I see it. These arguments have not been limited to just B&M and they go far beyond any disdain others may have for this merchant.

The reason I came here was to compliment Will on Figgy Puddin' soap and splash but I just did a little research and found out that there are recipes for Figgy Pudding still in production. Will.... you are no better than Betty Crocker or Pillsbury!
