Pine resin and beeswax would be good, rustic fun, but I imagine it'll get something more industrial. 



Those top notes have my attention . . . (which is their purpose, isn't it).

I can't help but think that the twine at the base of the brush will rot/mold pretty fast. 

They're sealed with industrial epoxy. Rob was pretty emphatic that they're protected against such things, and I trust his expertise on the subject.

The veg-bus soap is legit, I have a couple shaves with the unscented and it’s really impressive

Just a quick follow up on Roam II. After a few uses the smell has grown more tolerable. Do I love it? No, however I no longer despise it. I just give it a neutral rating. The performance however is = to the tallow versions IMO. This definitely makes the unscented version of the vegan(?) soap a good buy.
