That was my experience when I got Pencil Pushers in the Vegibus. Will was talking about moving everything over to this base I think if I remember correctly. I found it near if not as good as the Omnibus.
Oh no! Another artisan abandoning the fat.!? Crap.

Everyone is different but the fat is always noticeable for me.... It will give Frank, Mike's, Stirling and Mo a cult following.

They are definitely not abandoning tallow. They only made the unscented and Roam Two in the veggie formula as a side project. Everything else will remain in the tallow Omnibus base.

Yep, as others have said, I'm not abandoning tallow. We released the vegetable formula to demonstrate a point: tallow is not a required component of a great shaving soap. Many claim that they can tell the difference between the tallow and vegetable versions, but, in a completely blind test, I'd be willing to bet that the number of people who can tell is actually quite small.

That said, wet shavers are attached to tallow as a rule, and I'd personally rather use the stuff over palm oil because I consider it to be more ecologically sound (though I take considerable care to use RSPO-CU palm oil to mitigate our palm use as much as I can). But I stuck with the vegan unscented because it made sense: the soap is extremely good, in my estimation as good as any tallow soap, and appeals to both those who prefer to avoid fragrance and those who prefer to avoid animal products in their soaps. It also allows me to offer a vegan alternative without overhauling the entire line.

Thanks for the explanation Will and I agree on it's quality of lather matching the tallow. Also, I'm not against tallow or vegan soaps. Just my experience using both Omnibus and Veggiebus.
