I have come to learn that there is no clear definition of what defines a "Barber Shop" scent. Scents range from the sweet patchouli of Mike's, to the creamy lemon of Seville, to the the basil-lavendar-powdery scent of Man from Mayfair. Given such different and unique interpretations, what is your favorite barber shop scent?

Mine is Wholly Kaw Donkey Milk Man from Mayfair. I love the scent. Clean and masculine.

Your turn.

My favorite now is Noble Otter Barr Barr. This actually reminds of barbershops!! From their website : "powdery oakmoss, rosemary and even a hint a lemon".

But Seville is my all time favorite shaving soap scent. I just don't like to call it barbershop scent.

Secretary Ramsey put his foot into it yesterday . . . in the course of his remarks he said that California “needs water and better society.”  “So does h-ll,” yelled someone in the crowd.

Mine is Stirling Barbershop. It was the first "Barbershop" scented soap I ever tried and it's still my favorite.

For me, it comes down to two soaps: Mike's Barbershop and Sir Hare Classic Barber. The 2nd one isn't mentioned much...at least on this forum. The two scents are similar and both remind me of what a barbershop smells like

My dream barbershop would be Seville in a WhollyKow Donkey Milk base. That said....I find Man From Mayfair quite acceptable. In fact...it’s really grown on me. Love that WK DM base! I don’t find the B&M base in the same league as WK. So, as much as I love Seville I’m done with it. But...YMMV....

Out of the many I have my favorite is Fist Canadian Shave soap Barbershop Taperfade (now just called barbershop) it's my favorite soap, B&M Seville is the closest scent to it I can come up with. Its the first soap I finished a tub of and it will be the first soap I finish a second tub of. But the one scent that takes me back to the barbershop growing up is TOBS Sandalwood for some reason. I also like Mike's and Chiselled Face but they are more powdery, I'm not a huge fan of powdery scents.

Although the PAA barbershop in the soap CaD is not very similar to the more classic version from Mike and Chiseled Face, but I like it very much and obviously will not leave anyone indifferent to its aroma.

Scents in CaD:
Fern
Geranium
Lavender
Oakmoss
Guaiac Wood
Patchouli
