Any idea what influences razor makers to use different designs to bring the top cap and base plate together?
Barbaros only started using pins for the top cap to slot into the holes in the baseplate after the TR-2. Even Lambda
does this.
Aesthetically Ive always preferred the long and narrow wedges that fit the indentations in the baseplate. (Blutt, Paradigm, Charcoal, WR1 etc)
Could a case be made to standardise this across all razor designs? Im trying to see why one design would be superior to the other and if so, how.
