Looks a lot like the Rocnel SE that uses half of a DE blade. I'd like to know if a GEM blade will fit with the spine on, or if the spine needs to be removed.

The blade will fit with the spine. You wont have to remove it.

Yes is does look like the Rocnel "SE". I'm trying to wrap my head around how the blade is loaded. Does it slide in from the side maybe? It doesn't look like the head flips open like a traditional GEM razor.

It is 2 piece head. You will jus take the top cap off and put the blade in.

Unfortunately, i got solid parts but they are still preliminary, very hard to give a timeframe yet. Maybe end of the year but not sure about that too.

Wow. Looks awesome. Can't wait to see the new TR-2 in production/available.

Here are the handles, there are some machining marks left inside the helices but they are very hard to remove. I'm also trying to find a method to speed up the process.

TR-2 was out in limited quantities gents. Some of them will be sent to USA this weekend. Other than that 2 handles are ready for sale at one of the retailers.
