This post is inspired by an article on a newspaper recently

I didn't make just 1 bad purchase, I made 3.

Let me explain, I didn't get into wet shaving then as I find it time consuming when I purchased the handles. The local razor shops by my house and work were are carts.

I could have purchase an DE then and it would still be of use today

I have a drawer of shame, with dollar shave club, Harry's, Mach 3s, and Hydro 5s! I haven't checked but I suspect that those lovely lubricating strips are probably dried and cracked!

Maybe the 2nd and 3rd handles can be used as a standard 3 piece handle if you can unscrew off the Gillette head?

Yup, I got those way back at the start of the wet shaving adventure. It’s possible that you can sell them and try to recoup your losses. Plenty of guys still shave with cartridge.

Some of the cartridge razors will make good travel razors if flying... if you don't like to check bags like me. That is only thing preventing me from getting rid of the costco-size gilette mach 3 pack I am slowly working my way through. It will likely outlive me.

I had the good fortune to make the jump from relatively inexpensive disposables (Gillette Good News Plus) to DEs.

There you go! Happy2
You could even just saw it off if you had to, and drill it out to epoxy in a plated brass beheaded M5 bolt.

The Asylum Rx V2.  It's just too rough of a shave for me.  Bullgoose doesn't offer a money back guarantee,
and no one wants to buy it from me, so I guess I'm stuck with it.  Yes, it was definitely a bad razor purchase.

Did you try using it with a Kai or a Schick? Feather Professional might not be one of the better blades to use.
