Too bad. I have it in the Soft Heart and it's very nice... creamy & dry wood.

Matt. It is strange. I like just about everything - maybe I got a weird puck. Will send it to you. Brand new omnibus not used. You don't like it, pitch it.

Nothing weird about it. The Soft Heart Sandalwood had a small amount of Mysore and was very nice. This newer Omnibus Sandalwood is 100% fragrance oil and the scent was off. The consistency was too syrupy. May have been how the fragrance oil mixed with the base.

Another great one is the Lodrino Sandalwood, 100% essential oil and beautifully executed.

I also love the base and was surprised at the scent. In my case, however, I like the scent. (The performance is outstanding with every Omnibus jar I own.)

For me, the scent starts off nice (like Nero said, a creamy/woody scent). Unfortunately, it turns very quickly to a Ginger Bread Cookie scent. That GBC really comes through if I take a deep breath of it. I haven't use it yet but have another Omnibus base so i have no doubt it's a good soap. I just personally am not a fan of the scent and this one will likely end up on the BST or Pif pile
