I’m not sure how Barrister and Mann pulled this one off, but it’s actually a pretty masculine, bright, and fresh scent. This soap is a winner that I’d use year round and for any occasion.

Slickness was outstanding and overall performance was better than my reserve base stuff. I’d highly recommend this.

Those are a very encouraging pair of posts. Being a doubting Thomas on this one, I ordered a sample from Maggard's, but I am now hopefully looking forward to finding that my doubts were misplaced.

Everything is omnibus.

I have the original. It was gifted to me by a dear friend. It’s a beautiful scent and well balanced. I wouldn’t say any note dominates. It’s hard to shave with though, because I can’t stop smiling! Big Grin

Just shaved with her this morning. Medium strength, well balanced floral with green and fruit notes balancing her out. Great base - my #1 favorite shave soap formula/base.

Passionfruit is one of my favorite scents, so I ordered a sample of Passaflora and Paganini's Violin. I've had 2 shaves now and I'm pretty sure I'm going to buy a couple of tubs (and maybe some splash) even though I'd promised myself that I wasn't going to buy more full-sized soaps in 2022. I love the light fougere that sits under the passionfruit.

I got two sets.. I wish I got only one.
He has great packaging.
Base is just excellent, but I prefer his rhapsody scent much more.
I hardly got notes from Passaflora.

I enjoy my Tabac !! It does not claim to have a spicy fruit in it though. I know some are getting that from this soap but unfortunately my nose is missing it and is my loss Big Grin
