It does NOT leave any color on the brush based on my usage.
Fantastic soap!
On that note, it occasionally CAN cause discoloration in heavily-bleached silvertip brushes (Morris & Forndran and Simpsons Manchurian seem to be especially prone). A bath in a mild vinegar solution and lathering a couple of unpigmented soaps (I usually recommended unscented, but anything without coloration will work) should take it right out.
I accidentally used my Thater yesterday to load Night Music, and after realizing it I just went ahead and continued my lather and shave. Well, it ended up with discoloration as I expected. I rinsed it as usual and then lathered a hand soap and rinsed again. I checked it today and the hairs were noticeably darker. Tonight I lathered dish soap and rinsed, soaked it in vinegar and water for 5 minutes and rinsed, then, lathered one of my unscented bath soaps and rinsed. It's still wet so I can't say for sure whether it worked, but it looks like it did. It's definitely lighter.
