Just wondering if anyone can describe the scent?
Thanks in advance!

Sickeningly sweet cotton candy with a tinge of grapefruit.

Sounds lovely Big Grin

No rose?

I've read that it smells like Pez candy. Do you agree?

I think DRH Arlington smells like Pez a bit... Does Whatsis smell like Arlington?

Mostly grapefruit and rose. I dont get pez or cotton candy. It's definitely not an every day soap for me and one that wouldn't hurt me to move on from. It does dry down very nicely but that initial scent of the splash is strong perfumy grapefruit.

My mind immediately associates "damp butter cookies" (as in, Danish-style biscuits, but ones that stood in the open for too long and have gone soft).

From the sample I tried (the excelsior release), the soap smelled of rose/geranium, citrus, and maybe laundry musk, but the splash definitely had a cotton candy/caramel note to it. I don't remember if the sweetness was what hung around or if it subsided as the splash dried down...

I had a sample from the first batch and the aforementioned descriptions are accurate. While I enjoyed the sample now & again, I would not buy a tub. YMMV.

Secretary Ramsey put his foot into it yesterday . . . in the course of his remarks he said that California “needs water and better society.”  “So does h-ll,” yelled someone in the crowd.
