bump, I've updated the list. For the Canada list, once we get to the last Canadian on the list (minus onepassben), we'll be sending it out to west coast to hopefully expedite that list some as it was growing large..

Awesome! Thanks Andrew  I'm expecting the razors to be delivered this week, so barring any unforeseen snags, we should be able to get these sent out very soon!

Razors have arrived!  Will take a few days to test and make sure everything is in order, but should be able to get them mailed out next week! [Image: view?usp=drivesdk]

That is such a handsome razor. I am hopeful it shaves well and lends itself to a steep angle.

Have gap/exposure data been published? Apologies if I missed it. Are additional plates in the making? OC going to be an option?

Different materials? I think the original pix shown were brass. Brass would be appreciated. The razor would look awesome polished up and 24kt plated.

razor looks great, AylsworthRazors.

I agree with LOOT, adding some different options for base plates and different materials would be a win for you, as discussed previously with you via email.

Thanks LOOT and Andrew. Yes, the plan is to eventually have different plate comb and aggression options, handle lengths and patterns, and also different materials etc.

Since each new part variant requires a minimum order of at least 100 units for the CNC manufacturing to be cost effective as a consumer product though, it is necessary to keep manufacturing limited to just one plate type and material until the business launches and starts taking sales and generating revenue, which can then be used to fund additional options.

That is such a handsome razor.  I am hopeful it shaves well and lends itself to a steep angle.

Different materials?  I think the original pix shown were brass.  Brass would be appreciated.  The razor would look awesome polished up and 24kt plated.

I had my maiden shave with it last night. Was waiting for the razors to arrive and they were 3 days late, so I had a good 4 days of growth.  Razor took it down effortlessly and very comfortably too.

Just a little bit of blade feel to help guide the angle.  Bear in mind this is intentionally a shallow 24 degree angle, akin to a Tatara or Christopher Bradley, and not a traditional 30 degree cap.  So more of a cap rider than a SB one.

The gap is 0.73 mm and a near neutral .02 mm exposure.  Plate and comb options will come later once the business is taking sales and making some revenue.

The version1 prototype was brass but the first runs of production razors will be SS.  More materials will come later along with more plate and handle options.

Thanks!
