Those Brushes look Fantastic! I especially like the Butterscotch/Ebony M&F brushes, what a great combo! I've been wanting to get a Brad Sears/Morris & Forndran in Lime for the past few months, but the last thing I need is a new Brush. We'll see how long I can hold out. Enjoy!

The new Stirling Soap Co. brush that my friend reknoted for me with a Maggard 24mm tuxedo synthetic knot arrived today and it looks fantastic.  I have it ready for tomorrow morning's shave.  However, he didn't stop there.  He also threw in some more goodies and to say I'm delighted would be an understatement.  There is an Ever Shave clear handle 25mm fan tuxedo knot, a tub of Sudsey Soapery Almond & Vanilla Shaving Soap, and a RazoRock aluminum HAWK (v.2) razor.

For my Stirling/Maggard brush Mike widened the hole in the handle to 26mm and put two pennies in the bottom of the hole to raise the loft of the knot.  I honestly think he did an incredible job.  Also, ezlovan, that ergonomic handle feels like it was made for my hand.  I think you have a real winner there and the price of the brush is worth it for the handle alone. Jeff, I used it for this morning's shave and it performs beautifully.  It has just enough backbone to make it interesting and yet, as you'd expect, the tips are baby bottom soft.  I love everything about the brush, including the (for me at least) ergonomic handle.  Should ezlovan be able to see himself clear to do it (no pressure at all here, Rod Tongue), I think this Stirling handle with a tuxedo knot might be a real winner.  BadDadven mentioned a badger knot in this handle and, as I stated earlier, as far as I'm concerned, the price of the brush is worth it for the handle alone so for those of you who enjoy reknoting brushes, the knot choices could be many.

I agree, the handle is definitely worth the price of admission. It would be sweet to see it in different colors/designs and knot options. Hint, hint...

I've got it ordered with the tuxedo style knots, and I've also mailed them a sample of our jars to start making them with green stripes rather than black, and I'll probably branch out into other colors as well. I just really like that handle, and everyone else seems to as well.

Hoping to one day control this Stirling Soap compulsion, but not betting on it. Just arrived!

Early 1930s (I believe) Rotbart, brass handle and top cap). .[Image: b4b2b218fccdf3c22755a64ad5ad536b.jpg]

Gibbs No 17 Adjustable (chromed brass? Zamak? head). Date unknown to me. Unfortunately the plastic is broken and therefore it's a bit of a pain to take the razor apart, but otherwise it's a beauty [Image: cfadbadcf9fb3a5619e60a2e50034453.jpg][Image: f83be4d299a10af20da560aa25109767.jpg]
