New soaps and creams this month ... So far.

I recently gave up a minimal rotation, re-purchased old favorites and sought out new things to try.  

I should be good for a while.

Shavemac Expert Select Tortoise 167 26x52 D01 2-Band Fan

After a palm lather, the knot looks more hybrid than fan, but I'm happy.

We took the boys to a children's museum and found an old tucked away antique store in a town with more cows than people on the way home. Left to right Gillette old style no date stamp circa 1917 with box and blade holder, Gillette ball end tech no date stamp 46-49?  This one is mint "Gillette" engraved across the top cap no wear, no nothing, looks brand new.... Seriously... It probably isn't' but it looks it.  Gillette fat handled tech no date stamp pre 1950.  For the lot I paid the cost of two extra value meals super sized at McDonald's.... What a great day!!

I didn't yet have an old style in my collection and while I have numerous techs from this same time period I've never seen one this mint.  Looks brand new out of the box.... I'm eager to shave with the old style in the morning.  I've stopped at slot of these off beaten path antique stores in the last year.....normally it's a strike out or egregious prices.... For once I got a steal!!!!
