I used a test batch of aftershave this morning. I was pretty pleased with the results, but am going to take the blackberry note down just a smidge as it cuts through more than I thought it would. After that I'll do one more test, but I think it's on the right track. The bay and spice notes are present but not overpowering to the rest of the scent. The vanillas that I use, along with the benzoin, sit underneath and support to round things out, but aren't really terribly noticeable. I think that the blackberry is still key, however, for keeping the spice notes at bay (see what I did there?!)

And to tack on to what Marko said, I will be blending the finalized scent for Blackberry Blossom Bay tonight then I'll try to knock out all the orders this weekend. Then once everything has macerated fully next week, I'll begin shipping out orders. And don't worry, I won't invoice until I have a physical product to invoice for. I have never been comfortable accepting money for something that does not exist.

Just making sure you still have me in the list for one of everything?

I haven't tried any chatillon lux products before and something with bay rum is definitely a good intro into his products.

hawns, I forgot to ask. I think I told Marko to put me down for the splash and salve. will anything in the salve prevent me from rubbing it into my beard? when I put on balms after showering, I usually apply the balm to my beard as well. I haven't had any problems there, but I also never used any bay rum balms before.
