Question for anyone who has the titanium La Faulx. I love the weight of titanium so I am considering purchasing a titanium classic, would you recommend going for the basic polish or is the as machined good enough?? I love shiny, but my biggest concern is the drag feeling sometimes associated with machine finishes. If drag is not an issue I may go with the stainless head and use a timeless crown handle.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have the La Faulx Titanium ++ and +++ machined finished. I find the premium for the basic polish excessive and I am reluctant to pay the premium. Thus far, I am very happy with the +++ Titanium machined. La Faulx shines in ATG shaves. I use it as my daily shaver alternating it with my Vector Titanium Polished.

Thank you very much JS Ong I agree the polish is expensive so I was hopeful to avoid the added cost.

For me it’s good enough. The pictures don’t have the best quality but I think you can have a fair idea of what to expect.

Thank you everyone for your helpful feedback. After being convinced by the feedback and gorgeous photos I couldn’t resist purchasing a La Faulx classique for an early birthday present a few minutes ago, but I don’t have a lot of experience with SE razors. Where is the best place to buy blades for US buyers??

I've had good success with The Razor Company, Pasteur, and Italian Barber. Ideally you might try to get a sample of each blade variant to see what works best for you. Not sure if any online resellers offer individual AC blade purchase (similar to Try A Blade)

Wish more comparisons were drawn between ++ and +++ plates . How are you folks who bought this razor liking the razor? Anyone can share pics of a bronze razor if they have bought?

+++ much more efficient than ++. Less touch ups needed. Still very smooth and less dangerous than a Vector. I prefer my +++ to my ++

Will the La Faulx head fit most handles?

I use a Stork handle with mine so I see no issues with using any standard threaded razor handles.
