Looks like a mistake rather than false advertising but I can't see one like yours anywhere on their website. I actually prefer the one you received. Colors and shape of the handle are very soothing and the low loft looks like it has some nice backbone. Based on your post, I suspect our tastes aren't the same. Hope you can get it resolved without additional cost.

I am not usually a fan of vetivers, but I really like the one from Guerlain.

Curious your thoughts on the VC02 vs VC01. I just ordered a brush with the VC02 and after realized I can change to the VC01 knot. But I can't find a lot of comparison of the two. Sorry this is an old post it won't let me message you.

The VC01 is a softer profile that I personally prefer of the two.  The VC02 has more backbone.  I think VC01 works best for face lathering, and it is my tuft of choice overall.  That said, many folks prefer the VC02...  Honestly V&C makes the best brushes and tufts around, so you can't go wrong with either tuft, IMO.
