Apex by Aylsworth Razors

Does anyone know if the apex ti comes in the standard plate? Also, any reviews on the standard plate (0.7 gap) It looks right up my ally as a overlander fan... I like mild!

Are you guys talking about the standard plate or the + plate of the Apex?
I really like the Blackbird's blade feel and efficiency, so would the + plate be somewhat parallel?

It's the .99 plate or the (+) Celestino. It was the only one offered for the Apex-Ti in the last release.

Hi Celestino, yes Ti-Apex comes only in + plate. Celestino, Apex-Ti is no where near as close to Blackbirds blade feel. Efficiency wise Blackbird is a 9, Apex-Ti is a 7/8 depending on what blade you use. It’s definitely an 8 with Feather, Kai or Bic Chrome. I have to say Blackbirds blade feel is very unique and very few razors match that. 

It mostly reminds me in blade feel of Blackbird Lite If you have tried that, but def more efficient. Its super smooth and enjoyable, has enough blade feel for me to be enjoyable. But to answer your question, it is not parallel at all, its like comparing apple to oranges, different shave experiences. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for that.

Might just try the Apex SS + version to get an idea of what it's like.
