Thanks

I wonder how it shaves vs. the Drakkant

Kaleb will be shaving with this on Instagram live at 9pm tonight.
Many questions will likely be answered there.

Razor will be released today at 12pm EST. Price is $149.99
While it has the same specs as the Drakkant plus, it shaves different as the geometry of the head is different. Kaleb mentioned that this is a tad more efficient than the plus.
I'm getting one for sure!!!

Efficient ...
It'd be a ratio.
Effectiveness on Smoothness.

I'll read the experience.
There're two ways to change the ratio.

Yeah, a must buy IMO.
The drakkant/kopparkant plus was for me one of the best razors out there...this one is even better! It's smoother and more efficient.
Kaleb, if you're reading this, please offer the Apex in a machined finish at some point.

Glad to hear! The drakkant "+" is one of my top razors. Impressive it's better!

Apex delivered a remarkable inaugural shave - the blade feeling seamlessly integrated, evoking an almost ghostly sensation - audible but scarcely tangible - rendering a smooth and secure experience. Two red spots due to my overzealous pressure, an error on my part. Very mild, yet very efficient. At first glance, Drakkant+ boasts similar efficacy but with an added dash of amusement. Apex embodies the essence of a silent executioner.
I dont know if I like this ghost blade feel even the shave was very very good. Future shaves will tell me.

Aylsworth Apex vs Drakkant TI/Nacet/Simpson T3/Wholly Kaw - Old Glory/Mastro - Peek a Boo
-
Many roads lead to Rome. Almost the same result, but different ways to get there. In terms of efficiency and thoroughness, both are on a par. The Apex convinces with its very gentle way. The Drakkant TI with its emotions. It's more of a personal thing - do I want mild, gentle, thorough, little emotion, a blade that feels welded in and simply does the job - Apex.
If I want emotions, more fun, bladefeel but also very safe - then the Drakkant TI. Very exciting to see how 2 razors with the same data can shave so differently.
Very well done razors and a total recommendation.
Tolerances, machining, blade clamping, design is top notch.[Image: gUfV5la.jpg]
