So, the Overlander was sent off Monday afternoon for a replating at BRG. It has not moved from this status since I brought it to the post office. I have a very bad feeling about this.
Think I'll call today (it'll be an 8 hour wait, no doubt) to see if they can figure out what is going on.
Wish me luck.

I hope it's the typical skipped scans and will just show up delivered with nothing in between. Have had it happen many times Paul and hope that's the case here too.

Lol.
I submitted a ticket. If it's not just a mis-scan, it'll hopefully take care of it. If it is, I'll at least get reassurance.
Happy Friday!

'You were right!'
Haha. It must not have gotten the appropriate scans. Voila! It shows up as ready for pickup (BRG uses a PO box).
Wheew!!! I'm so relieved it worked out. Happy Friday everyone.

So, last night I went with my travel, Gillette Guard, disposable razor. It's clearly a single edge, but also clearly not fun to use.
For me, SEptember has been a bust. I'm glad to have tried a few new ones, but I'm wholeheartedly in the camp that the Overlander is my G.O.A.T. I'll probably pop the two Hydromagic on the BST for cheap, in case anyone else wants to try them.
Time to start watching the clock (calendar?) In anticipation of my Overlander return.
Have a great Sunday folks.

Paul, you've been a good sport and gave a try. Kudos to you for that and hope that thing comes back blindingly shiny for you and soon !!!
I never cared for the Gillette Guards when everyone hyped them up either

The Guard isn't the best, but they're cheap and work well enough. I have a large stash of blades just for the purpose of travel... Which I do almost none. Lol. I believe I was among those who were super excited by the guard. After the newness wore off, I've come back to reality. It's really just 'sufficient'.
That said, I actually found an AoS DE89 clone (muhle made them, I think) in my extras box. I'm probably going to use that until the Overlander returns. It should be smoother, yet still as efficient as the Guard.
Edit: I was thinking about it... I dont know that I posted all of my shaves, but I started in late August with a loan from Eric. I shave with both plates of the Blackland Sabre. I then tried the push button Gem before sending it off to Eric. So, my SE journey (this time around) includes: Two Sabres, a Gem, and a Hydromagic.
