Karve replenished fairly quick, so you'll have more chances. Put it on your list (as Mike mentioned) and sleep on it a bit more (as Marko said)! It is a nice razor, but like Paul D wrote in his journal, it is NOT a two pass and done as some have said. I like it for the smooth efficiency, getting me closer shaved than the SB-B. I found SB-C too much for consecutive days. Not sure if it is as efficient as you seem to prefer. I'd be happy to lend you mine, as next week I really wanted to get back to single edge goodness! The Sabre, Hawk, General, and a bunch of GEMs are all clamoring for my attention as well as a new to me Type G! Shoot me a PM if interested and it'll out to you Monday!
(This way, maybe we can make it 48 to 72 hours in February, myself included!)

So For no good reason I was looking through eBay at vintage razors. I happened upon a Gillette long comb for dirt cheap, which looked like it needed a good cleaning. No bids on it and it was ending in a few minutes. Judging from the title, the seller really didn't know what it was. So, being a razor I have absolutely no use for, obviously I decided to jump in and snag it. In the end, I paid The pricely sum of just over $11 shipped to my door.
Nonetheless, I am actually very excited to get it, just so I can clean it up. Man, I am pathetic. Lol. Maybe I'll pif it in the future? Regardless, another piece of shaving history will be rescued from rust and rot.

Looks great, Paul, hope you like it! And I am with you on OC shavers, not my cup 'o tea. But, I have two that work for me. The LC you sent me and the hybrid plate for the Yates 921. I sold all the Karve OC plates (all being 2!). And the GEM Micromatic OC is good, but being an SE, I shouldn't put it with the Long Comb and the Yates 921.

I just bought it to rescue it and clean it up. I'll post some before and after photos.
The odd things we do. Lol.
