Another Hendrix Havana Breeze shave. This scent is awesome, especially if you dig a high end tobacco scent. Received my tub of Havana too (after my shave). I'm all set for a while. Also got a stick of his White Star Barbershop. Another great scent, akin to a stronger version of the ever popular Mikes Natural. Can't wait to try that base. Pete kindly included some samples, including Badass. I didn't know what to expect from this scent, as it seems to mirror the notes in barbershop. Different formulation, different scent... But it seems awesome in it's own right.

Used the Henson Aluminum again today. I have to say, after going back and using the aluminum for the past few shaves, I'm selling myself on it all over again. It's lighter and more to my tastes. I hate to imagine the day, but I may sell the Titanium at some point. We'll have to see.

Tacked on a few more items enroute today. As I posted in another thread ordered a tub of Lisa's newest base... and in a new scent. Very excited to try that. Also have a 2BED knot coming in from the generous MaineYooper as well as a two band fan knot (to replace the cancelled Yaqi).

Happy times.

Used a 2BED myself today, a big 28mm.

That covered my face pretty quick and had enough lather for 2 complete shaves! I best try loading less!

In my handle buying heyday, I needed knots, and taking a licking in shipping as I ordered a knot after buying a handle. So then I Got Smart, and ordered a handful from both AP Shave Co and Oumo Brushes on AliExpress. I now have a little stock built up, and am happy to help out friends!

Hope the day goes/went well!

Yeah, I should have done that to begin with, or at least after I realized I liked the 2BED best. Live and learn, I guess. Lol.

I was adamant I only wanted to use 24 mm, as the rest were too big. Now I'm using 26 almost exclusively and very happy. I can't fathom using a 28, 30, etc. Brush. I'd end up lathering my toes as 'collateral damage'.

No shave today, but tomorrow I'm trying another soap from Hendrix Classics. Pete was super generous and now I have several test shaves ahead of me.

Have a good evening!

Beautiful specimens Eric. That Fluffy industries handle is awesome. Very steampunk looking. You need a copper bowl to match.

Well, today the AP 2BED Synth knot arrived from Eric. What a generous and kind gesture. I immediately took to setting it, to complete my synth collection. Very happy times!

Thank you so much MaineYooper !

Also received my 2Band badger knot from Maggards. As Paul can attest to, the last time I ordered a 2 band from Maggards, they sent me the bulb instead of the fan. Well, I must have that kind of luck, because this is what I got: Yep, another bulb.

This time I need to insist they make it right. I really want to try the fan. Here's hoping it works out. [Image: 5b887915ba3ab18dfa2d989379b94667.jpg]
