Why, yes, Paul does! Look at all the testing and comparing he does!

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

Well the replacement Leaf arrived and I'm going to give it a go tonight. Also got word that USPS found my lost package. After spending 5 days lost in NJ, the Hendrix Soap is back enroute. Definitely good news.

To be continued...

Well I had a chance to shave already. First the razor:

I'm glad I mentioned the issues. This one is on perfect condition, and opens and closes so smoothly. That last one was definitely defective.

That said, the shave was basically the same. To that effect, it's definitely not my cup of tea. It was a good close shave. However, the razor has some weight to it. I understand that's usually a perk, but I like light razors. Also, the blade feel, which not horrible, is definitely there.

In the end, I think I'll probably list it on the BST shortly.

Happy Friday DFS!

Let me ask the masses here, because I'm getting a bit worried:

I have a Yaqi brush from AliExpress on order. Bought it on 10/2, I believe. So, we're now at a week and it hasn't shipped.

I haven't done an Ali order in a while. Anyone have recent experience? Is it this slow now, with COVID (or whatever is regionally effecting China, I'm not up on the current World News, really)?

I'm guessing it's probably slowed due to COVID and a massive amount of orders at once, due to the sale... but I wanted to get some opinions from those who may have bought there more recently. I'm hoping it isn't a problem their not reaching out to me about. Fingers crossed.

Thanks folks!

Hey Paul, while not Yaqi, I ordered 5 knots from Oumo Brushes on AliExpress. I placed the order 8/27/21 and they arrived, from China, on 9/17/21. I think 2 weeks is fairly normal, but others can chime in, as the only other time I use AliExpress was in 2017, and I remember thinking it was a long time coming. (ie, the slow boat from China!)

Ooh, I totally expect a LONG delivery time. I didn't expect a week and counting and it hasn't shipped. If you got yours in 2 weeks, I'd imagine yours shipped faster than 7+ days.

Yikes. I hope this isn't going to be a problem. I believe AliExpress automatically cancels an order not shipped in 2 weeks.

Oops! Don't tell Dave, but I am guilty of speed reading your post, so the finer points were missed by me, lol! Or my squirrel-like attention didn't absorb what I read and instead substituted what I thought I read!! Either way, I get what your puttin' down, and it's heavy! That would be concerning, but like you said, they have some nice protections in place, reminds me of eBay.

Absolutely, definitely a good protection. Except, I don't want it refunded. I got a 26mm Yaqi 2-band for $17 and change. Kinda rooting to keep that deal. Lol

Edit: Just found the option in my order screen to extend the automatic cancel timeline. I added another 30 days. Hopefully they'll get it moving by then.
