Anything that can go wrong will happen while I'm shaving...

So, no shave today. We're currently on our way back from Mystic, CT. We hit a few shops, strolled through the village, had dinner at Mystic Pizza, and just enjoyed the evening.

This morning we did a bit more shopping at Old Mystic Village then headed over to Ocean Beach Park for a little bit. My favorite part... Playing in sand and water with my 10 year old daughter. Great family fun!

Not yet banned on B&B... but I'll keep trying.

So now that I'm on the fence about the Twig, I have an email off to Leaf to see what issues I might have with the finish.

This unit I got has some bubbles in the chrome, under the "cap". I sent a picture off to them to get their take. I'm hoping it Isn't indicative of future issues. I definitely can't resell it knowing it'll crap out on someone. So, we'll see what they say.

I completely forgot to update this...

The response I got from Leaf was great. They responded in like a day or two. They said it looks defective and they're sending me out a new one. It's actually slated to arrive today. So I'll take it for a test shave tomorrow night (my next shave). I don't know if the problems of that razor amounted to it shaving differently, but I'll find out.

Speaking of shaves: I've been splitting them between the Henson AL and Ti. I'm starting to remember why I loved the aluminum so much. Don't get me wrong, the titanium is awesome, but I really do love a light razor. In my head (you know, the Tomb of Horrors) it feels nimble®.

Check out the price! While I never got to play this module, as we had started creating our own, it was on the wish list if our DM felt he couldn't make a great campaign for us. 
Looking back, it gets painted as nerdy, but wow, we had some fun times! Cheap frozen pizza and store brand chips, and we were on our way! Food got a little better when we had to girls join us. Not healthier, just higher class snacks!

I believe I played one session of that module. If I'm remembering the right one (which I might not be), it was absolutely crazy. A tour de force, kill the players as fast as you can sort of ordeal.

Now I have very fond memories of Palace of the Silver Princess. The first adventure I ever played, in the first D&D game I ever played. Absolutely awesome times.

You know what really sucks... When an item is out for delivery, on the mail truck, but doesn't get delivered. Ugh.

Well, luckily I don't need the leaf until tomorrow (no shave today). Hopefully he has a better day tomorrow.

On a positive note, I received my Stirling order today. Just three samples of the various unscented soaps, along with some bar soap. I'm going to test the validity of a crazy thought I had recently: Maybe scent oils are lending to my on again off again skin sensitivity. It's worth checking out.
