Glad you are getting it sorted!
Your brush collection is what I had hoped for, but alas, 18 (eight fricking teen!!!) is what I ended up with after my sale in June. I moved six to new homes. To be honest, I really like the 18 left. Maybe someday it'll decrease. I just don't need any more increases! But those 18 are in wire mesh drawer, and a friend in another neighborhood tells me this usually leads to multiplication, ha ha.
Happy Independence Day to you, as well!

I believe, based on the results, it's called Bonaire? It might be worth trying.
A&E has one too, but I don't have stellar luck with that brand. I've almost tried it a few times, but ... It's too risky of a reaction.

That sounds right. I know I have that one. I haven’t ventured into the basement yet. A bit nervous now.

I'm probably better off walking away from the scent. I can always use the Stirling hand soap... No issues there. In fact, I should bookmark it so I remember on my next Stirling order.(07-04-2022, 01:31 AM)mrdoug Wrote:(07-04-2022, 12:38 AM)Marko Wrote: There is an (I think) Oleo duck fat soap with the exact same scent as Island Man. Thanks.
I didn't get a chance to post last night, but I decided to try to speed things up in my testing.. I shaved with Fine Lavender Pour Home on half the face, Ethos Greenfresh on the other. Shave #2 with the Astra SP. Overlander, etc etc. Both worked well, without reaction or much issue. I was pretty certain both would do well.
There's definitely something to be said for a good quality soap, though. The Fine was 'fine', the Greenfresh was better though. I could absolutely feel the difference between sides.
Additionally, I don't think the Astra SPs have nearly the nice face feel as my Personna Comfort Coated do. They're usable, but I definitely prefer the comfort of the Personna. I'm pondering liquidating them down the road. We'll see how things go as I continue to test soaps.
