Anyone know how DG B18 compares to past batches?

I have been waiting months to find out about this batch and whether it actually compares well to the great batches like B5, B6, and B11. Any input is highly appreciated, thank you

Nobody knows. I don't think anyone has received brushes from the first drop yet.

Very very early impressions, only one use in. I haven’t tried the earlier batches (besides B4), so I can only use  from B11 on as reference. So far it feels like a mix of B11 and B16, leaning closer to B16. The backbone is similar to B11 (probably a touch less), splays easily with great flow through. The tip feel is similar to B16 - natural tips with a hint of natural gel as to not come off pokey, although I find B18 scrubbier so far (in a good way) probably because of the higher backbone. Mine is set a bit lower than my B16, probably a couple mm, so if you got a higher lofted B18 it might be even more similar to B16. Pictures below from after todays shave.

I’ve got a B18 headed my way, I’m excited to check it out. If it’s anything like B13 or B14 I’ll be thrilled.
