Play with your shaving soap? Palm lathers? Don't you guys know that can make you go blind? And I don't even want to know what you do with that shaving brush.

I actually broke out a badger for the first time in probably 8+ months to use for my shave earlier. I've only been using synthetics since then. I'm also using a newer soap to me - stirling....and I find that it's taking me more time to dial in the soap than with my other soaps that I'm more familiar with.

test palm lathers will correct that shortly, I'm hoping.

Much more fun with edibles - whipped cream, maraschino cherries, chocolate syrup, maple syrup . . . Tongue

Not playing per se, but I find myself wandering in the shave den (read: closet) and randomly sniffing things.

...magic brownie. That would be some dope soap! I wonder if one of the hemp seed oil soaps comes in brownie scent.

Anybody else just randomly play with their shave soaps?

About as often as I get some random phillips head and slotted screws and practice using my phillips head and slotted screwdrivers on some boards. But its more fun playing around practicing how to remove stripped screw heads

What? You guys don't practice with your other tools? How are you going to get good at it if you don't practice? The say it takes 10,000 hours to get really good at something although lately this has been debunked.  Once debunked, Ive been cutting back on the number of hours of practice.  Dodgy

Wow! 10,000 hours! In general, I don't seem to take that long to acclimate myself to something, except possible comprehending the meaning of life. Shy
