Those look like some old vintage blades, the current production Astra are all laser-engraved.

Astra SS they are good not bad now depending on what razor it’s used on too right as it can play some difference..

Overall as blade quality it’s good can’t complain but I preffer old vintage Astra Blades tho way more..

I’ve been using RK Chromium DE Blades. Got them via HC&C on a Black Friday special. Really like then - I bin them after 2/3 shaves (can afford to given the pricing).

Otherwise, I’ve been partial to Dorco Prime Platinums and Gillette 7 O’Clock Platinum Blacks. I cork these blades before the first use. Might shorten the longevity but I find that they’re smoother out the gates this way.

The platinum are a ticker smother but I use both on a regular basis. Both are sharp.

I say I prefer the Astra SP over the SS, but I would not be surprised if I could not tell the difference in a blindfold test. (Not that I'd ever actually try to shave while blindfolded.)

My preferences change over time. I used to not like Feathers, but now I do. I started using them again when I got my Henson AL13 Mild, then I found I like them in my EJ DE87 too, and then my RazoRock SLOC.
