Good morning all,

I recognize that there were earlier threads regarding Tobacco scented soaps, but I did want to draw your attention to some new soaps I just received and they are the best. The Shaving Shop has some really nicely scented tobacco soaps. In particular Casablanca and the Savoy. Casablanca is in a class all its own, so I cannot compare it to anything. The Savoy is interesting since it's does smell similar to two other soaps I really love but the scent is for a better word "full, smooth and robust." Soapy Bathman cigar shop smells similar but it's not. These are two great soaps in their own right, the savoy is alittle more refined?

Anyways, Peter's customer service is excellent, gets back to you quickly and fixes issues without question. If you love tobacco, you need to give these two a try. Peter is legendary in his love for tobacco scents so the man has a personal stake in making sure the scent is Spot on and it is.

Disclaimer: don't know the man, not related, paid for my purchases, the benefactor of good customer service.

By the way, scent strength? A beautifully robust scent for both, just like I like it, otherwise why bother?

Very interesting... I have a giant weakness for tobacco shave products. Looks like the Casablanca is a collaboration with CaD314 and PAA. The Savoy with Henri et Victoria. Nice that they give the artisans a shout out on the site and, for me, makes it even more interesting.

Nice heads up Jervis!

Just to clarify, Cad314 is, aside from me, PAA! Smile It was a collaboration between us and the shaving shop (Peter Charkalis).

It was actually quite cool the way it happened. I was going to make a Seperate order from Maggard for the Henri et tobacco scent and then I took a look at the Savoy scent profile and they were pretty close. While I'm not a killer of birds with stones, I was already picking up the Casablanca so that's how I landed on the Savoy and don't regret it at all.

One of my all-time favorite soaps both in terms of scent and performance. An excellent light, fresh tobacco and leather scent.

I also like Country Club La Habana. Much lighter than the Maggard's, but still a pleasant fresh tobacco.

My next soap purchase is likely to be PAA Cavendish. The splash is flippin' incredible!
