I have had my first two shaves with the Ti Vector.

I was a bit skeptical as I had a SS Vector before, but gave up after using Kai PINK and Schick.

I now know, it was a mistake.  The difference is night and day, and I’ll give a strong nod to Ti (it’s lighter, more maneuverable and feels better on the skin) paired with the proper blade.

Feather Soft Guard delivered for me.  With proper prep, I easily achieved a smooth, 12 hour lasting BBS shave.

Most importantly, no irritation, no folliculitis flare up, just a pure BBS including my neck that lasts.

The Soft Guard blade was a bit “tuggy” for the initial pass of the first shave, but after that it settled in.  No such tugging on shave 2 first pass. Or on pass 2 or 3.

In fact, I would say that an initial 3 pass shave has never been any easier to achieve a pure BBS from a new razor.

If you are in the fence about the razor, I think it would work for any sensitive skin shaver, you just have to find the blades that work for you.

I will soon try the Feather Pro Guard blade on 2 days of growth.  I am looking forward it and will report back in a few days.

I had my first shave with a Feather Pro Guard blade.  I have to admit, it was a bigger step up in aggression than I anticipated.

I went for a full 3 passes (WTG, XTG and ATG).  I use no pressure, ride the cap but yet I do have very sensitive skin and today, I knew I shaved!

Going to give it a few days rest and report back on the next Pro Guard shave.

I love the nimbleness of the razor, but I am learning more about AC blade dependency for individual results.

After a solid week of shaves with this fine razor, it must return to its rightful place.

I have to say, I was not expecting the blade differential I experienced, so be patient and
try multiple blades to find the right AC blade for you.

Short background - I have folliculitis and psoriasis.  My skin is more sensitive than most.  I can achieve BBS shaves but am careful about my entire approach.  None seem to last more than 8 hours unless I want to deal with razor irritation.

The Blackland Ti Vector itself is one of the best engineered, most maneuverable and innovative razors I have shaved with, period.  It truly is in a class of its own with nothing to compare it to.

For the blades.  I would say that I felt a significant shift in comfort from the Feather Pro Guard to the Feather Soft Guard.  Hands down, for my sensitive skin and shaving frequency (every other day) the Soft Guard is my blade of choice.  I get just as close shaves and it feels better.

As for the BBS achieved - one of if not the tops for me. A solid 12+ hours was achieved with skin stretching and prep.  All of this without irritation (using the Soft Guard blades) makes this a compelling purchase.  That is 50% more BBS time than with my favorite DEs.

Price/Performance Ratio - 1-2 shaves with this razor and you will know why you spent the money.  Straight razor close shaves at home.  Efficient, comfortable and surprising nimbleness you won’t get from almost anything else.  It’s expensive but outperforms razors that are reselling for multiples of 2-6x what you pay for a new Vector Ti.

Running through blades myself still looking for that one that suits my needs best.
It's interesting to see as I reread through the experience is different guys have.
I'm really wanting a blade to work out the best but so far the best shave is not the most comfortable so it's give and take.

Oh no need to Apologize for sending me some blades, I appreciate the kindness.
I do have some Schick I need to try again because it's been a long time.
Feather professional and super professional also need to use again.

Just thinking these threads are alike.
Edit: not exactly the same threads but close.

Thanks Mike, there's some in the mail from Dan if the USPS doesn't lose them again.

Sure thing.  I have really sensitive skin. Dan was spot on with his recommendation.  I do wish Blackland offered soft guards as part of their package deal.  Pro guards are too much for me.

Can you use the Vector everyday with SoftGuards,
Most of the other blades are giving my skin a workout, but that's with several passes over to be fair.
