Amazed by these 2 razors from Etsy

Both of these razors take 1/2 de blade but the head is shaped like a AC razor 10 out of 10 on both. They have quickly become 2 of my favorite razors in the den, and find myself reaching for them constantly.

The first razor is the snap 2.0 from against the grain wears on Etsy. This razor is from Canada. I am amazed at how nimble this razor is when getting to the tight areas and it gives a fantastic shave. It’s made from aluminum, has a .5 mm blade gap and provides a smooth irritation free shave. Pop in 1/2 of your favorite DE blade and you will get the wow factor from your shave. I also got the wooden box that goes with the razor.

The second razor is the Jaga pronounced  Yaga made by  standopolska in Poland, also on Etsy. This also takes a 1/2 a de blade, and is a little more aggressive than the snap 2.0.  I paired it with a voskhod blade and it was close to shaving perfection. This razor is made from stainless steel and the machining is flawless. On both of these razors you simply hold the top cap upside down, put the 1/2 de blade on the top cap, put the base plate on and screw the handle on. The quality and packaging was as good as any other razor such as Timeless and Rex ambassador I have purchased. I also got the Stainless steel inkwell stand with it and it is also machined perfectly. Shipping was prompt and it arrived with a few splash samples from Saponificio Varesino. Another incredibly nimble razor that gives a perfect shave for me. The wow factor achieved. The nimbleness of an AC razors with the mounds of DE blades I already own.

Standopolska Jaga pronounce Yaga

Sounds good. Is there any way you can post a pic with a blade loaded in the Jaga that will show the exposure and gap?
 Also, how grippy is the knurling on the handle?

From an aesthetic point of view, I just do not like these razors. The handles are too fat for the very slim heads, especially on the half DE razor

Take a look at the SE razors from a generation ago, e.g. GEM, Vallet Auto Srop, etc. The heads were larger and the handles slimmer. I get that with the AC type blades, the heads are going to be very shallow in depth and very wide so maybe the handle issue can't be resolved.
