Perhaps I'm crazy, but I can't help doing this. I know it doesn't likely matter, I'm not using these blades again but the idea of them sitting in the bank wet bugs me. I dry them off with some toilet paper then drop them in. Am I the only one who does this?

Yep. You’re crazy. Then again, so am I. I do the same thing.

I do it too, but for a practical reason. I don't want the blade to stick to the door of my wife’s sharps container on the way down. Sharps is sharps!

That seems like a wise, logical reason. I'm just special. And a little compulsive. I can't not do it.

Well, I also soak synthetic brushes, just as a matter of routine.

Oh, man. So do I. They are all I have ever used. I was going to make a post on synth brushes. Things like "Soaking synthetic brushes. Why bother?" and "Synthetic brush heat retention or lack thereof." That kind of stuff.

I'm in, 'cause  I set a used wet blade by the bank to dry and deposit it later, when dry.

I don’t dry my blades before I deposit them in the bank but I do let them dry before I drop them in. Who wants a nasty rusty or worse blade bank sitting around? Gross.

Ditto. Have had the habit of drying my razors and blades (even the ones I dispose of) since I started this 13 years ago.
