Hey all. Looks like another 316 SS razor recently hit the market. I believe Alpha has been known for their brush handles. It might be interesting to see if anyone here has recently picked up one of these razors and would be willing to share some initial impressions.

I got mine in the mail today. I'll shave with it tomorrow morning and post my thoughts. Here are a few photos. My initial impression is that it seems well built. The base plate is different from any others I own with the blade resting across some posts (probably the wrong word). See the pics below. The head style is that of the Maggard V3A.

Any opinions on blade clamping (or lack thereof) due to the baseplate design?

I was gonna say the same thing. Looks just like the V3A I've been using the past couple days.

Never used the V3A. Also, I'm not sure where the inspiration for this razor came from. I just know I love the Alpha brushes and am looking forward to using.their razor. It seems to clamp the blade just fine.

alpha aimed for something just below the R41 with this razor. A Milder plate is also in the works. Don't know how long it is good for but "ATG10" discount code.
