Alpha Shaving DE Razor Passaround - Call for Participants

West coast package is on its way to CzechCzar.

Hi All,

Here's the pass around list. Vlasta is going to send out two brushes and two razors, one for the West coast and one for the East coast. As per the usual DFS pass arounds, keep the razor for a week or so and then send it along to the next person on the list for your area. Once you have time, please share some feedback in this thread, whether good or bad.

As a precaution for the covid19 stuff, please soak the razor in alcohol, or something similar before using the razor and prior to shipping it off to the next person to limit our risks.

yes, the plan is if the west coast list finished up before the east coast list, rather than sending the razor back to me, just send it to the next person on the East coast list..

While the Outlaw doesn't need any hacking, some folks benefit from the additional rigidity shims provide so today I tried a sandwich, broad shim on the bottom, narrow on top, Kai blade doing the cutting. Still lotsa noise but man what a great shave. Really love using this guy.

I will be sending the East Coast razor to Kaotikfusion by tomorrow or Saturday morning at the latest.  It will be going from Indiana to New York. 

I will be posting my review and thoughts by tomorrow.

Overall I was impressed. No irritation. Narrow sweet spot but that was fine. Gorgeous design.

Unfortunately, it just didn't shave close enough for me. I had to work hard to get BBS, and the BBS didn't last that long. Still, a great razor if you have a lighter beard!

Will do. I've got another passaround razor on its way to me as well, I'll try to keep them moving forward as best I can.
