Alpha Bandit DFS pass around

Hi All,

Steve from Alpha Shaving shot me a PM a week or two ago about passing his new DE razor around, the bandit.

Here's some info on the razor with some photos from Steve:

The passaround will come with THREE plates. One open comb plate, one safety bar plate and one safety bar plate with NO lather drains - this is experimental as I want to see if lather drains make any difference at all to the shave. So I would ask that people try all three plates and also fill in the Google feedback survey.

This prototype is in brass although the production razors will be in stainless steel 316L in a satin/machined finish with a limited number in brass, hand polished. The first 100 razors sold will be at a very special introductory price (to be decided) and will include both plates and a matching stand. They will be numbered. After that the price goes up to normal retail - again to be decided. The handle is going to be sold separately too at some point in titanium, steel and brass - it is called Alpha Triple Grip.

The razor will be made in USA by a very well experience razor maker.

Logos - the logo on the baseplates will change for production units to my circular logo.

Exposure - neutral to slight positive depending on blade

If you want to be included in the pass around list, please comment that you're in and what state you live in.  As per usual, keep the razor for 7-10 days (mostly because there's 3 plates) and then pass it off to the next person on the list.  When you have time, please share your thoughts in this thread.

I believe Steve is putting together a google form with questions he's asking people to fill out after using the razor to help put together some useful data.
