At one point, RayClem mentioned that Mallard Tonka reminded him of Sugar Daddy candy.

I knew I blew it when I missed the Mallard Tonka release.  Oh well, I can't have everything.

Yes, you can have Mallard Tonka Smile

All the Mallards and their matching aftershaves are packed and will be shipped tomorrow to Top Of The Chain, TRC, and Pasteur.

I have a few questions.

1.How cool is Pineapple Rum, I was wondering if I could use it in the summer and is it boozy, and what similar perfumes or scents are out there?

2.I'm curious about Tonka, is it similar to perfumes like Twilight by Lush or Back to Black or Black Phantom by Kilian or Myrrh & Tonka by Jo Malone?
Or will it smell like something else?

Pineapple Rum is different from Coconut Rum to my perspective (and adore both).

Coconut Rum is a nonfem tropical drink exhibiting almost perfect balance between coconut and rum (wish it had a coconut bias but still love it)

Pineapple Rum leans decidedly to pineapple with rum finish

Star of the show is Coconut Fig. Good God it about perfect in every way. No other soap ever tried compares for scent and performance

Tonka to my nose is straight tonka - perhaps missing something here. Quite pleasant. Wish somebody would do a Tonka Imperiale clone

Interesting! I might need to get some from France since I can't find it in the US. I have to try it.

In the States, the FDA bans the use of Tonka Beans due to the coumarin content. When consumed in excess, coumarin can cause liver damage. It has been banned since 1950 along with any substances containing coumarin.

Products like Delis Fevres de Cacao et Tonka cannot be imported into the States. While you might be able to purchase it in France, I doubt US Customs will allow you to bring a bottle back to the States, at least not legally.

Alright then! I'll order some Tonka beans from Amazon, mix them into the chocolate ice cream I make, and enjoy it with a top-quality rum Smile

Can't wait for Black Friday, do your mallard soaps usually come out with a new lineup about twice a year?

I recommend not skipping the current Mallards Smile

I'm working on increasing the frequency of releasing new Mallards.
